Between 1997 and 2001, Greg was assigned to the Mohave Area General Narcotics Task Force and prosecuted drug cases, including cases involving the manufacture of methamphetamine in clandestine meth labs. In October of 2000, Greg prosecuted co-defendants in one such clandestine meth lab, located in Mohave County, that was supplying meth to the Las Vegas area. Greg admitted evidence and expert testimony and secured a conviction.
In June of 2007, Greg prosecuted Jack Darrell McGee for murder and the defendant asserted an insanity defense. During the jury trial, Greg cross examined 3 mental health experts on the issue of defendant’s sanity at the time of the offense. Greg secured a conviction and defendant was sentenced to prison.
In 2010, Greg prosecuted 18 co-defendants involved in a government wiretap investigation for conspiracy to sell methamphetamine. In March of 2010, tried 5 of the co-defendants in one trial. In a four week trial, Greg admitted wire evidence and secured convictions on all five defendants.
On the 4th day of August 2010, the Arizona Prosecuting Attorneys’ Advisory Council awarded Greg Arizona’s Felony Prosecutor of the Year (Small Jurisdiction).Greg was previously nominated, by the Mohave County Attorney, for Felony prosecutor of the year in 2000-2001.
In April of 2014, Greg prosecuted Edmund Adams for multiple counts of committing sexual offenses against children and possessing recordings of the offenses. The defendant other, similar, prior convictions from another jurisdiction. Greg secured a conviction and the defendant was sentenced to 626.5 years in prison.
In 2019, Greg prosecuted several defendants caught in a “Dateline: to catch a predator” type sting. Local police used an undercover (adult) officer to create a child’s online profile and some defendants solicited sex from a person they believed to be a child. In May of 2019, Greg presented one such case to a jury. During the trial Greg presented voluminous evidence of e-mails and texts. Greg secured a conviction and the defendant was sentenced to prison.
In 2020, Greg entered private practice and focused on criminal defense. The State Bar of Arizona certified Greg as a Criminal Law Specialist. Since that time Greg has represented clients in 9 felony cases before a jury.
